Casino Winning Technlogy, a Sure Bet?
By R.A.
Rachel, Janet and James were having the time of their young lives but then everything seemed to always be easy for them. All coming from affluent families where mistakes and errors in judgment were either never spoken of or properly covered up.
Never straying far from their comfort zone the trio had made a ritual of hitting the slot machines every Monday night. They thought it ironic to party and flaunt their wealth on a day when the working class had just returned to toil at their daily grind.Even though they were on the slot floor each and every Monday they had never noticed that one of the maintenance workers for the slot machines was an old friend who's family had lost it all in a junk bond fiasco. Paul White use to be one of them.
He learned the hard way how quickly life can change.Once on his way to becoming a promising young doctor specializing in optical regeneration he now serviced gaming equipment for a living. Paul just hated to see his former friends living the high life and treating all others as servants around them. So on this night he kept a particular machine out of order until the trio arrived. He knew it was Rachel's favorite. He rigged the machine to pay off every other play. He wanted to see just how greedy they could be so he rigged an optical laser that would leave anyone watching the screen blind and paralyzed. It would only happen if they made the winnings hit one million dollars. The rest as they say is history.
You should have seen their faces. Now that I think of it , you still can. No one ever did figure out what happened to cause this event. The police tested extensively for drugs of some type but none were found. Some thought it too much excitement, some extreme shock but Paul White was happy to inspect the machine and found no anomalies.Just a good old slot machine that dished out an incredible reward.
The casino removed the machine from operation to insure public safety. Public opinion was that the arrogant trio tried some new modern undetectable substance to get high. The casino owner said he doesn't ever think anything like that will ever happen again.
He's just glad he's got a tech like Paul White keeping an eye on things. After reading that last user contributed story, we thought you might enjoy: Winning a Big Slots Jackpot and Winning Your Dream Vacation. Both articles should appeal to your general interests.
