Poem by A.G., One of Best Casino's Readers
Simply an escapologist I wish I was. As I stood there with my stiff arms folded tightly behind my back, I thought about what a life I had served. Alcohol. Drugs. Theft. And now Rape.
Tonight was the night. I stood there looking at myself in the rusted old cracked mirror on the water damaged brown wall. Deep in my limitless brown eyes was a twinkle of desire. I could foretell the events of tonight, endless fun and loud, scream needing pleasures.
I walked towards the door. Hand on the knob, I felt my insides come out, shivering I now became. The house was elegantly large, music striking though the walls. It was a casino in itself, gambling and alcohol spread throughout the room. I sat there in the corner, observing all the girls as they walked by. Then I say her, a young lady, 17 at best, strikingly silky brunette hair hung from her shoulders. Tears stripped from her eyes as she lifted the beer to her soft rosy lips. She stood there watching her lightly blond friend gambling off her money, loosing everything.
She was the one. I slid over to her with a friendly, but fake, smile. I introduced myself. Surprised, she lightly tilted her head upward, now looking into my eyes, her eyes sparkling in a sea of deep blue. She slid off, away from her friends. We engaged in conversation, only in a matter of time exchanging smiles and laughter.
I took her into a dark empty room on the side of the house. There I took here. There is where it all started. Both our lives at the beginning of it's end. I looked into those dazzling eyes once more and shut the door. Those eyes. I would never forget those beautiful eyes. I saw them no matter if my eyes were open or closed. They were there. Haunting me. I walked into the court room, watching my feet scrape across the floor. I looked up, only to see that girl's unforgiving face, soul broken and corrupted. One drop. One tear. That's all I could do to say, I'm sorry.? After reading that last user contributed story, we thought you might enjoy: Lucky Charm for Best Casino Gambling and Evil Slot Machines.
